Program 1

Stopover Chile | 03 Nights / 04 Days | Santaigo

Day 1 Arrive Santaigo
Arrival at the Santiago International Airport and welcome by your English speaking guide.

Departure for the walking tour of the historic center of Santiago , surrounded by very modern districts . In the colonial district , visiting the Casa de La Moneda , the seat of government and on to the Plaza de Armas to discover colonial architecture and republican monuments such as the Cathedral (nineteenth century).

Visit of Mercado Central, one of the most picturesque places in Santiago that the building was declared a national monument. Will let you enjoy the specialties of fish and seafood. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Santaigo,

Day 2 Santiago – Valparaiso – Santiago (By Road) (120 km/ 2 hrs – One Way)
Departure for the city of Valparaíso, indescribable city whose port, the largest in Chile, created in 1536, is a place to experiment.

The hills and the sea are the natural limits of the city and the historic center is home to architectural wonders, narrow streets and trolley bus (UNESCO).

Continue to the panoramic tour of Viña del Mar, a seaside town nearby Valparaiso.
Return to Santiago. Overnight in Santaigo.

Day 3 Santiago – Colchagua Valley – Santiago (161 km/2 hrs 15 min-One Way)
Departure for Colchagua Valley.

Visit of Casa Silva vineyard. At the end of XIXth century, the founder of Casa Silva, Emile Bouchon, traveled by the Atlantic to reach a real wine experience in Bordeaux. Generations after, his carmenere, chilean strain by excellence, is one of the most famous in the world.

Visit of Viu Manent vineyard and tasting of the wines.

In 1935, Miguel Viu with his two sons founded an association dedicated to the wine commercialisation. Thirty years after, this familiar business became one of the biggest vineyards of the region, which has nowadays all the modern technology.
Visit of Colchagua Museum*, known for his collection of pre-Columbian art. Return to Santiago.

Day 03 Santaigo
Departure for Yungay Neighbourhood, a patrimonial place of Santiago city nominated typical zone, that has been cradle of intellectual chilean celebrities and families of the XIXth and XXth centuries. Visit of the square of the neighbourhood and ‘’the roto chileno’’ monument, that remembers the victory in the Yungay Battle in 1839 and the Chilean typical idiosyncrasy.

Through the streets, we can see particular constructions which contrast with the modernity of other quarters, such as the Casona Valdés and Espacio Gárgola.
Visite of Memory and Human Rights Museum* inaugurated in 2010, which by the objects, documents, and files in different forms, allows the visitor to know this part of Chile’s history: the military government that has take place between 1973 and 1990.

Continue to Quinta Normal Park, founded in 1842, with about 40 hectares of extension, and which is considerated Natural Sanctuary due to be the home of a large diversity of vegetal species.

Day 4 Santiago-Colchagua Valley-Santiago (By Road) (161 km/ 2 hrs 15 min)
Departure for Colchagua Valley.
