Sonargaon was made a secondary capital to the main capital of the Sultanate of Bengal. This subsidiary position that Sonargaon had now taken, lasted until the arrival of the Mughals. The Mughal Empire originated in India and was first founded in 1526 by Babur, a Turco-Persian leader. The imperial Mughal viceroys ruled Bengal, and thus Sonargaon, for nearly a century before Bangladesh was founded in 1608.

Tangail district is located in the central part of Bangladesh. There are various opinions about the naming of Tangail region. Renell showed the entire region as Atiya in his atlas published in 1778. Before 1866, there was no distinct local identity of the region. Their religious personalities of Mughal culture were called Tengaile in their own language. The word Tangail came from the Tengaile.

Bogra is a historical northern town of Rajshahi division in Bangladesh found in the map. This country has the real source of entertainment and happiness in Bogra. It stands by the beautiful flowing Karatoya River. Bogra is the main point of business arena in Rajshahi division.

Mahasthangarh is the oldest archaeological site in Bangladesh. It dates back to 700 BCE and was the ancient capital of the Pundra Kingdom. Mahasthangarh is the earliest urban archaeological site so far discovered in Bangladesh. The village Mahasthan in Shibganj thana of Bogra District contains the remains of an ancient city which was called Pundranagara or Paundravardhanapura in the territory of Pundravardhana. A limestone slab bearing six lines in Prakrit in Brahmi Script, discovered in 1931, dates Mahasthangarh to at least the 3rd century BC. The fortified area was in use till the 18th century AD. Mahasthan means a place that has excellent sanctity and garh means fort. Mahasthan was first mentioned in a Sanskrit text of the 13th century entitled Vallalcharita. It is also mentioned in an anonymous text Karatoya mahatmya, circumstantially placed in 12th-13th century. T

Rangpur is the newest and seventh administrative division in Bangladesh. The region is famous for its cheap labors. It is located in the northern part of Bangladesh and bordered by West Bengal Indian state to the north,Rajshahi division to the south, Assam, Meghalaya Indian state and a part of Dhaka division to the east and west Bengal to the west. The ancient name of the region is “Mughalbasa”.

Dinajpur district is located in the northern part of Bangladesh. The region was once a part of the ancient state of Pundrabardhana. The previous name of the region was “Gandowana Land”. It is one of the ancient districts during the beginning of British ruled. After the eight years of the battle of Palashi, the British East India Company established administrative control of the region in 1765. By ending the Nababi ruled of Ghoraghat, Dinajpur town formed day by day.

It was made a WHS as a tribute to the Pala dynasty, that ruled Bengal and Bihar for 3,5 centuries from the middle of the 8th century.

Gaud is the border place with India. There are many ancient Mosques. Most of them were built during the rule of the Muslim Sultanate of the Ilyas Shahi period.

Late in the afternoon return to your boat and rest overnight.

Very early in the morning we transfer to a fishing boat and start cruising to ‘Swatch of No Ground’ in the Bay of Bengal. When you arrive, spot and play with the dolphins, then take a close look at some whales. Later in afternoon cruise back towards Sunderban to the mother vessel. After breakfast, head for an undiscovered adventure in the hills. Drive with locals to Thanchi, making some stops to meet Mur Ethnic people for a while. Upon arrival meet the local people and check in to your guest-house for an overnight stay.

Day 04 Thanchi – Thuisa Para B – L – D

After having your breakfast, set loose and start the adventure journey to Thuisa Para.

To reach the destination you need to take a boat to Padhajiri and then trek for five hours through hills, riverbeds and waterfalls, meeting some indigenous people along the way. On arrival at Thuisa Para, meet the tribal family and spend the day with them to observe their daily activities. Rest for the night with them too.

Day 05 Thuisa Para – Belaban – Thuisa Para B – L – D By Trek

Spend some time after breakfast in the village then start your trek to Belaban. This is a wonderful experience, with views and ethnic people to meet. Cool off by paddling a canoe through the big rocks. Later trek a different way to Thusia Para and be invited as a guest of the Khumi Tribe.

Day 06 Thusia Para – Rimakri B – L – D By Trek

In the morning trek to Rimakri via Nafukum where you can take a shower in the waterfalls not forgetting to visit the rural hill villages of the ethnic’s people. Spend the night in an ethnic village.

Day 07 Rimakri – Thanchi B – L – D By Boat

After a short trek to visit some small markets and villages, take a wonderful boat trip to Thanchi. Today you will be staying at a guest in house.
