The central portion of the Serengeti – known as Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts more wildlife.

Be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a Hot Air Balloon over the Serengeti Plains (available at supplementary cost by pre-arrangement). Floating silently above the awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa, across rivers and over numerous plains wildlife

Day 10 Serengeti – Ngorongoro CraterNgorongoro Crater – Arusha B – L – D By RoadBy Road 212 Kms. / 4H appx.173 Kms. / 3H appx.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ngorongoro Crater for more game drives. Ngorongoro Crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes and the floor, dotted with watering holes, shelters some 30,000 animals.

You will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a full day crater tour with picnic lunch down into the crater. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants.

Another big draw card to this picturesque conservation area, is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. You will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater.

A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen there. You will have lunch on the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater and exit the carter floor after lunch driving to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 11 Arusha – Zanzibar B – L – D By Flight

You may decide to spice up your beach holidays by engaging in water sports such as scuba diving, snorkeling, kite surfing or go deep sea fishing. You will also have an opportunity to visit the old town or the spice island.

Day 13 Zanzibar – Victoria Falls B – L – D By Flight

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to catch up with your flight to Victoria Falls for the southern Africa safari circuit. Upon arrival you will be picked up from Victoria Falls International Airport and depart to Victoria Falls. Sip a drink at Shearwater Village after your welcome meeting. Sit back, relax, enjoy the rushing sound of the falls. As the mighty Zambezi River crashes over a basalt rock ledge and drops 108 metres (354 feet) down into a powerful whirlpool, it forms the largest sheet of falling water on the planet: the Victoria Falls. Traditionally known as Mosi-oa-Tunya (which, aptly, means the ‘Smoke that Thunders’), the falling water’s impressive roar can sometimes be heard from 40 kilometres (25 miles) away. This is truly a magnificent wonder of nature that every safari lover should experience at least once!

Optional Excluded Activity: Devil’s Pool Swim, White water Rafting, Full Day Excursion to Chobe National Park, Victoria Falls Helicopter Ride.

Day 14 Victoria Falls – Matobo NP B – L – D By Road 470 Kms. / 6H appx.

Rise early to the sounds of Victoria Falls thundering in the distance. Enjoy your delicious breakfast before you set out for a scenic drive to Matobo National Park arriving in good time for a sumptuous lunch. The Matobo National Park forms the core of the Matobo or Matopos Hills, an area of granite kopjes and wooded valleys commencing some 35 kilometres south of Bulawayo. The Hills were formed over 2,000 million years ago with molten rock erupting across the landscape — this has eroded to produce smooth ‘whaleback dwalas’ and broken kopjes, strewn with boulders and interspersed with thickets of vegetation.

Day 15 Matobo National Park B – L – D

Huge granite masses, land that has been walked on for forty thousand years, and a peaceful quiet that will have you wondering why you would ever want to return to the hustle and bustle of the modern world are what await you on this visit to Matobo National Park in Zimbabwe.

Hop aboard an open wildlife safari vehicle and bump along past huge granite masses shaped by time and the elements in search of the stunning wildlife that call this small park home

Day 16 Matobo National Park – Tshipise B – L – D By Road 413 Kms. / 6H 30M appx.

Another day, another slice of adventure! Make the most of your day. After your breakfast you will be transferred to Tshipise. The famous Tshipise (something warm) Koppie towers protectively over the resort with giant baobabs dotting the landscape is such a breathtaking scene. The whole journey from Matobo to Tshipise offers you with beautiful African scenery. Upon arrival in the evening sit back, relax, tip your head to the sky and bask in the warm water of the mineral pool at your campsite as you wait for your delicious dinner. Overnight stay.

Day 17 Tshipise – Kruger National Park B – L – D By Road 55 Kms. / 1H appx.

Welcome to wildlife country! Kruger is the kind of place that you’ll visit, but still want to return to over and over again. With nearly 5 million acres this park offers some of the best access to wild animals in Africa, so prepare for an epic time… (but you already knew that!) Keep those cameras at the ready and experience your ultimate African safari fantasy become a reality. Search for lions, elephants and many other animals on a full-day wildlife safari drive. Word of advice? Remember that it’s not all about the animals. This sprawling sanctuary is home to much more; think giant baobab, fever, and marula trees towering over the savannah in a place that feels older than time itself. Stop at prime viewing areas like Hippo Pool, the Kruger Tablets, the Red Rocks and simply revel in your primitive surroundings as nature moves around you.

Day 18 Kruger National Park B – L – D

Previous day, was only a taste of the beauty that resides in the National Parks of South Africa. Today, you will head out into Kruger NP again on another wildlife safari drive in the Lando. (Upgrade alert! You can choose to embark on this experience in a 4×4 safari vehicle instead.) Take your gaze to the sky today and try to search for all of the things you didn’t get to the previous. In the evening fill your bellies with a traditional dinner together, then grab someone’s hand and work up a sweat with some local dancing as the night settles around you. Overnight stay.

Day 19 Kruger NP – Johannesburg B – L – D By Road 400 Kms. / 5H appx.

While you may be leaving the bush behind today, the memories will stay with you forever. So don’t despair, instead look ahead with excitement as you journey back to Johannesburg, South Africa’s largest city and economic heart.

Upon arrival you will be transferred to your city hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 20 Johannesburg B – L – D

After your breakfast you will set out for city sightseeing in Johannesburg & Soweto. Explore & discover the Carlton Center, Apartheid Museum, Constitution Hill and much more!

Johannesburg, South Africa’s biggest city and capital of Gauteng province, began as a 19th-century gold-mining settlement. Its sprawling Soweto township was once home to Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. Mandela’s former residence is now the Mandela House Museum. Other Soweto museums that recount the struggle to end segregation include the somber Apartheid Museum and Constitution Hill, a former prison complex

PROGRAM – 6
Magical Kenya & Tanzania Journey | 08 Nights / 09 Days
Nairobi – Masai Mara – Lago Victoria – Serengeti – Ngorongoro – Arusha

Day 01 Arrive Nairobi – – – By Flight

Arrival in Nairobi. Assistance at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

We advise you in your free time to visit the giraffe center, the only place in the country where you can see giraffes very closely from the observation platforms and even feed them from a balcony. You can also visit the elephant orphanage, where you can observe and sponsor the orphaned baby elephants and rhinos in the center and even feed them. Don’t forget that very close to Nairobi is the Karen Blixen Museum, home to the Danish novelist from “Out of Africa”. The house, decorated with motifs from the film, photographs and the writer’s own objects, illustrates what life must have been like on this farm at the beginning of the last century.

Day 02 Nairobi – Masai Mara B – L – D By Flight

Transfer to Wilson airport to take the PLANE (flight included) to the majestic Masai Mara National Reserve, considered the pearl of nature in the country. The plane flight will provide us with a scenic flight over those hills covered by meadows and dotted with acacia trees that remind us so much of the authentic African landscape in the mythical film “Out of Africa”, reception on the runway and beginning of the 4×4 safari to start experiencing an explosion of wildlife.

Full board and accommodation.

Note: The plane ride to the Masai Mara is carried out with small local companies and with a very limited number of places. In the event that the flight is complete or the airline cancels said flight, this section will be carried out by road, in 4×4, with a duration of 8 hours without affecting the visit program.

Day 03 Masai Mara B – L – D

Breakfast. Full day safari in 4×4.

We will enjoy the rich diversity of wildlife that will invite us to lose ourselves in the infinity of its plains to find lions, leopards, rhinoceroses, elephants… until we reach the banks of the Mara River with its chocolate waters in which they frolic a few meters from we hippos.

The Mara River bed is the natural barrier that the large migratory herds of wildebeest and zebra must cross each year, moving between the Masai Mara Reserve and the Serengeti National Park. In our camp we find ourselves in a privileged area to follow in the footsteps of the great migration. Walking safari through the main crossing points of the Great Migration on the banks of the Mara River.

Full board and accommodation.

Day 04 Masai Mara – Lake Victoria B – L – D By Road 248 Kms. / 5H 40M appx.

At dawn, you can optionally go on a balloon safari (not included in the tour) in which you can fly over the herds in silence at sunrise before landing in front of a champagne breakfast on the savannah in the most genuine style of the safaris of yesteryear. Breakfast. In the morning, on the way out of the park, we will be seen off by elegant giraffes, many hippos, wildebeest, zebras… We crossed the border and entered TANZANIA through LAKE VICTORIA, the second largest lake in the world with its local customs and fishing villages, which adds a very interesting ethnic point to your route. Also known as Victoria Nyanza or Ukerewe, it will welcome us with its idiosyncrasy and biodiversity. This place is a privilege outside any tourist route. Boat trip at sunset to enjoy the sunset and the ornithological richness that this unknown paradise offers.

Full board and accommodation.

NOTE: Bring your documentation by hand because this day we will have to go through the border formalities to enter Tanzania. At some times of the year accommodation on Lake Victoria may not be at the Lukuba Island Lodge (Private Island in the Lake) but rather at the Speke Bay Lodge situated on the shore of the lake.

Day 05 Lake Victoria – Serengeti B – L – D By Road 283 Kms. / 5H 30M appx.

After breakfast we will have another 45 minute boat ride to observe the fishermen and their traditional ways of fishing.

We continue towards the SERENGETI National Park, a natural extension of the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Every year, between July and October, about one and a half million wildebeest, 250,000 zebras and half a million gazelles, followed shortly by lions and hyenas, cross this border in search of fresh pasture. They are the famous Migrations, one of the most overwhelming spectacles of nature. Safaris in 4×4.

Tonight we will be greeted by our camp staff on our return from safari and we can relax with a wonderful starlight dinner, all in true Out of Africa style.

Full Board and Accommodation.

NOTE: Our accommodation is located in the Serengeti within the Seronera area classified as PREMIUM due to its exclusivity and distance from any neighboring camp and main roads. We will be able to enjoy in the morning and at sunset a safari of more than 1 hour totally alone until we reach the main roads of the park.

Day 06 Serengeti B – L – D

Breakfast. Second day at our Safari Camp in the middle of Seronera (Serengeti NP).

The best safaris, or at least the best chance of witnessing hunting scenes, take place at dawn, when the savannah stretches and nocturnal animals are still active, and at dusk.

We will dedicate these moments to meet the big five or better known as the “big five”: lions, buffalo, elephants, rhinos and leopards. Full day safari in 4×4.

We will sleep in the middle of one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries on the planet. His landscapes respond to the mythical image of Africa: large spaces, deep blue skies dotted with clouds, cool sunrises and fiery sunsets, and at night, a unique display of stars.

Full board and accommodation.

Day 07 Serengeti – Ngorongoro B – L – D By Road 211 Kms. / 4H 10M appx.

Safari at sunrise on the way to the NGORONGORO Conservation Area.

We will pay close attention to another singularity of the Serengeti National Park, the Kopjes, rock islands in a sea of grass where lions, leopards and cheetahs love to rest on top of these rocks. Breakfast.

If the schedule allows it, we will optionally visit the Olduvai Gorge, where many fossils of the first hominids have been found. Before arriving at our accommodation we will visit a Maasai village in the Ngorongoro region.

Our camp will provide you, in addition to spectacular views over the Crater, an authentic Masai experience. Being able to live together and enjoy a chat and a glass of wine around the fire together with our Masais who guard the camp: it will surely become a memory forever.

Full board and lodging in our camp on the edge of the crater at 2,300 meters of altitude.

NOTE: Our accommodation offers amazing, privileged and unique views over the Ngorongoro crater. It has been awarded by the authorities of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area as the best company worldwide in ecotourism and environmental conservation. Each traveler contributes to a magical symbiosis between tourism, Maasai life, wildlife and safaris.

Day 08 Ngorongoro – Arusha B – L By Road 174 Kms. / 3H 10M appx.

Breakfast.

With the first rays of sun we go down in 4×4 vehicles into the Ngorongoro Caldera for our safari. No reserve offers a spectacle as grandiose as the Ngorongoro Crater.

A volcanic caldera 600 meters deep and over 20 kilometers in diameter that contains the largest “permanent” concentration of wildlife in Africa. Wild animals and Masai herders cohabit here. Spectacular landscape, inhabited by more than 40,000 Masai herders, dominated by the Rift Valley and the nine Ngorongoro volcanoes that began more than 4 million years ago. The only one that is currently active is that of Oldoinyo Lengai, the mountain of god for the Masais.

The crater of Ngorongoro, a giant volcano that in its time was perhaps higher than Kilimanjaro itself, allows thousands of wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, gazelles, lions to graze inside, which, unlike the Serengeti, do not migrate due to the continuous presence of water in the area that ensures their permanent livelihood.

Lunch included. And after our unique and exclusive experience inside the caldera of the so-called Eden volcano, we head towards ARUSHA.
